Arrival by car

Randa can be reached by car in about 2 hours from Bern, for example, via Kandersteg - Lötschberg tunnel - Goppenstein - Gampel - Visp - Stalden.

The journey to or from Randa is always a very special experience in summer, particularly when travelling by car over the Brünig, Grimsel or Furka mountain passes along the Rhone Glacier.

Arrival by train

Randa is just as easily reached from the west as from the north. The Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) have regular direct connections to the Matterhorn Gotthard Railways (MGB). It is about a one-hour train ride through the romantic Matter Valley to Randa.

In Visp there are free parking spaces for passengers traveling to Randa by train. The MGB's efficient and reliable Matter Valley rail service provides an excellent means of getting to Randa and Zermatt.
